We conduct classes at our studio in Hong Kong, as well as at different institutions. Our studio feature small class sizes, typically limited to 6-8 participants. 書籍裝訂 I BOOKBINDING I

書籍裝訂 I教授基礎裝訂理論，用語，技法，材料和工具。課程教授基礎及需要使用最少工具和儀器的裝訂形式(pamphlets, stiff board binding & flat back case binding)。主題包括紙張理論、摺紙、裁紙、打孔和3種縫書方法。

Bookbinding I is a fundamental course, teaching terminology, materials, tools, techniques, and basic concepts. The course will focus on simple book structures that requires minimal tools and equipment (pamphlets, stiff board binding & flat back case binding). This class prepares participants to explore bookbinding on their own or continue with more advanced studies.

Topics including paper theory, folding & slitting, hole punching, pamphlet stitch sewing, all-along sewing and French link stitch.

書籍裝訂 II BOOKBINDING II

報名條件：書籍裝訂 I 或同等資歷

書籍裝訂 II教授圓背精裝和德式圓背精裝，並介紹扒圓起脊、裁切書口、基礎皮革處理等技法。

在這個課程中，學員將加強基礎裝訂技術，並開始學習從cased construction(即書本和外殼分開準備)過渡到laced construction(即先連接書板和書肉，再處理封皮)。

Prerequisite: Bookbinding I or equivalent

Bookbinding II introduces intermediate techniques, such as recessed cord sewing, rounding & backing, trimming a textblock, and in-filling. Participants will complete a round back case binding and a German Bradel binding.

In this workshop, participants will reinforce basic bookbinding skills and begin to move from cased construction (where the textblock and case are prepared separately) and begin to learn in-board work (where the boards are attached to the text block, and covering-in takes place on the book).
